Hand Pumps

W.D.Moore & Co. produce a hand Pump to suit occasional use in outback areas. The basis for the hand pump is the Poly-Rod Borehole system, and an Alderdice Flush Cap Pump.

The Well Head mechanism is simple and inexpensive - using an arrangement of pipes and Clamps. The typical flow is between 200 to 250 ml per stroke (four to five strokes per Litre).

The Hand Pump is designed for emergency use, and for low grade potable water only.
