Omni Solar System

The solar pumping system where big volumes are required. The Omni system uses a multi-stage centrifugal pump, driven by a brushless DC motor. The system can be fitted on either a fixed, or a tracking array. Typically, the Omni systems are used where volumes from 30,000 to 120,000 Litres per day are required, and the heads are up to 60 Metres.



Although the system is most often used as a bore pump, the pump/motor can also be used as a surface pumping system with the addition of a floating pontoon.

The Omni system can also be built using the reliable Lorentz multi-stage centrifugal pumping system



Overview -PS1800 - Mult-Stage Centrifugal Pump :-

Controller PS1800 :-

  • controls the pump system and monitors the operating states
  • is mounted at surface (no submerged electronic parts)
  • has two control inputs for well probe (dry running protection), float or pressure switches, remote control etc.
  • automatically resets 20 minutes after well probe has turned pump off
  • is protected against reverse polarity, overload and high temperature
  • has speed control, max. pump speed adjustable to reduce flow rate to approx. 30 %
  • solar operation: integrated MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking)
  • battery operation: low voltage disconnect and restart after battery has recovered
  • max. efficiency 92 % (motor + controller)
  • enclosure: IP 54 (sealed, weatherproof)
